This happened for the next three decades. Hawaii News Now had on aired update occasionally from the time of signing on as independent channel KTRG in 1962. It shaped its longest-running update sector to date in April 1995. It appeared as a Fox associated with the inauguration of a 9 p.m.. It was broadcasted on KFVE till January 1995. It then became selective to the latter channel. KHNL added news bulletins at 5, 6 and 10 p.m. This happened during the summer and fall of 1995.
